As a Front Office Operations Analyst, you will carry out a wide variety of complex functions, activities, and special assignments relating to the effectiveness and efficiency of the overall Federal Acquisition Service (FAS) front office. Location of position: General Services Administration, Federal Acquisition Service, Location Negotiable After Selection We are currently filling one vacancy, but additional vacancies may be filled as needed.

  • As a Front Office Operations Analyst, you will perform the following duties: Provide expert technical advice, guidance, and/or support on a variety of complex management and administrative issues. Plan, coordinate, and execute assigned portions of or projects related to administrative program functions within the Federal Acquisition Service (FAS) Commissioner's Office, assisting with the administration of central office programs, initiatives, and projects. Research sensitive, complex, or potentially controversial issues in assigned areas of bureau operations. Combine complex data and/or information across a variety of sources, extracting significant and/or actionable data; consider issues such as information needs of management or other program staff, related interests, and level of detail needed to satisfy various users, system, functional, or other requirements. Coordinate workforce management administrative activities with supervisory staff to facilitate human resources management staff functions for the FAS Commissioner's Office, including job analyses, position management, position classification, recruitment and placement (e.g., accession, promotion, reassignment) and separation actions, labor and employee relations, performance awards, performance plans, and telework controls and monitoring. Coordinate with senior officials throughout the General Services Administration on matters related to FAS programs and Commissioner initiatives. Provide executive and other management and staff with recommended problem solutions, advice, and other assistance on a variety of programs, projects, and other assignments. Gather, organize, analyze, and present information to include decision-making recommendations, both formally and informally, via verbal and written means. Analyze, interpret, and integrate information in a variety of formats, such as graphs and tables, databases, and spreadsheets and plans suitable for and accessible to a variety of specialized audiences. Prepares and assists with presentations in a variety of formats.
