The purpose of this position is to augment the regular laboratory work force by performing routine Phlebotomy duties. This position is being re-advertised to solicit additional applications. - Performs phlebotomy duties, which include age specific patient assessment for the purposes of drawing blood specimens from patients of all age group. Performs blood collection procedures by venipuncture. Properly prepare specimens for transportation to a reference laboratory. Organizes and maintains a system for filing records, charts correspondence, reports other information that is necessary for the laboratory operation.
